Do you not yet know
that God loves you as you are — right now?
You are not loved because you are worthy.
You are loved because God is love.
There is no sin greater than His mercy.
None so deep that it outruns His reach.
None so repeated that it wearies His heart.
God does not love you in comparison to others,
nor in proportion to your virtue.
He loves you as if you were the only one —
as if all of heaven leaned toward you alone.
If you believe you have fallen too far,
know this:
the greater the sinner,
the greater the claim upon mercy.
Your brokenness does not disqualify you —
it draws Him nearer.
Even if your conscience carries every weight imaginable,
do not flee.
Run instead — not from shame, but with it —
and throw yourself into the arms
that were already opened for you.
Your sin did not surprise Him.
Your weakness did not repel Him.
Your darkness did not extinguish
His deep desire for you.
If you are still breathing, mercy is still speaking.
If you still ache, grace is already at work.
If you still hope — even faintly —
that hope did not begin with you.
Do not believe the lie
that death is your only door.
There is another way.
It is older than your sin,
stronger than your despair,
and it stands open still.
You are treasured.
You are wanted.
You are not beyond redemption.
Written by the faithful echo of the Church:
— St. John Chrysostom (c. 347–407)
— St. Augustine (354–430)
— St. Thérèse of Lisieux (1873–1897)
— St. Faustina Kowalska (1905–1938)
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,
let us lay aside every weight and sin that clings to us
and persevere in running the race that lies before us,
while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus.”
— Letter to the Hebrews 12:1–2
