2026's first battle: Mother Mary versus Satan

On January 1, 2026; the faithful were at Holy Mass honoring the 4th commandment and Solemnity of the God-bearer, Mary as the mother of God. Many Protestants disagree. Here are 3 rebuttals to anti-Mary rhetoric.

• Most people think God and Satan are equal opposites, but that’s illogical. God was not created; He has no equal. Conversely, Satan was created. Therefore, God cannot be used in the same sentence with Satan when comparing spectrums of good versus evil.

• Mother Mary and Lucifer were God's masterpieces, in both the human and angelic realms. When Satan decreed, "I will not serve," he lost his right to the title Lucifer, which means "bearer of light." He became the Prince of Darkness. At the moment of his fall, Satan became the antithetical created being. Today, the created beings of Satan and Mother Mary occupy spectral opposites on the scale of good versus evil.

• Our Mary occupies the #1, top saint spot in heaven. Conversely, Satan occupies the bottom most rung of hell as her polar opposite. Logic demands that if Satan has power, so too must Mother Mary. Satan is on a tight leash which we called God's permission will. The obedient Mother Mary, does not need a leash but, logically, has at least equal powers as Satan under God's permissive will. One created being, uses her powers for good, the other uses it for evil.

Today, we need the strength of Mother Mary more than ever. On 1-1-26, as we "beheld our Mother," which Jesus commanded from the crucifix to St John and the crowd, where was Satan? Perhaps he was in New York City, whispering in the ear of the newly elected mayor, Mr. Zohran Mamdani, as he delivered this inauguration message.

"We will draw this city closer together.

We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism."

The context of this Islamic socialist's speech occurred in the same city where 9/11 happened almost 25 years ago. Born abroad yet enjoying every U.S. freedom possible, what does this imply? The warmth of collectivism has killed a 100 million+ people in the last century. Mr. Mamdani claims to be a democratic socialist. Socialism is communism without guns. In the warmth of collectivism, individuality disappears. Here is proof.

• Joseph Stalin of the Soviet Union (Russia) spoke, "the individual is nothing. The collective is everything.

• Mao Tse Tung of Communist China said, "the interests of the individual must be subordinate to the interests of the collective."

• Benito Mussolini of Fascist Italy stated, "everything in the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state." 

NYC Mayor, Mr. Zohran Mamadi quotes actual communists. The endgame of socialism is, individuals own nothing and are happy. What does this have to do with God? Rugged individualism built this country. It is a country of souls. Authority or "the collective" in this context, does not have a soul.

Much of the Old Testament is based on the concept of personal property rights. Review the 10th commandment. Exodus 20, states you shall not covet your neighbors' goods. Simply stated, it promotes personal property rights over state infringement. The vast majority, if not all of communist regimes, are atheistic. Without God, authority becomes the highest being. If authority is defined as the state, system or government; they are God.

Summary. More than ever, we need Mother Mary's intercession in Satan's battle for souls. The simultaneous, January 1, 2026 spectral events were not a coincidence. We must rethink and reorganize our worldview on governance. Because if Godly people don't, godless people will ...
