Kate Steinle

2015 Forgotten victim Kate Steinle was publicly shot in the back walking with her dad in California on a boardwalk in a totally random killing by Garcia Zarate (alias: Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez), a career criminal who was deported 5 times to Mexico. He claimed he found the gun laying in the sand on the beach, later discovered stolen out of a parked Ranger's vehicle. A store-front video captured it, the widow smashed out, the trunk popped and the gun stolen. The person in the grainy video resembled Zarate, who was eventually released because the 1st District of Appeals ruled the presiding judge failed to properly instruct the jury. Californians cheered like it was the O.J. Simpson acquittal. Throughout the ordeal Californians demonstrated and rallied in support of the murderer like he was a superhero, while simultaneously ostracizing anyone pitying the poor innocent girl peacefully walking on the boardwalk with her dad, shot in the back by this violent career criminal illegal. Several students wearing pins supporting Kate Steinle were expelled from school.
