BLESSED ARE WE! FRUITFUL FROM OUR WOUNDS

   Recently, once again I failed to be faithful and sinned.

"Why, God, why am I giving in to temptation?"
    His inner reply---"How else would you know the anguish that others feel with they too, trip and fall off the wagon. Or if they rather go to false idols---hours before games-- instead of opening their Bible to seek My Words. How else can you relate to the frustration and the depression they will feel."
"Oh, wow--I am blessed then? Yes with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Understanding, Knowledge, Wisdom and Discernment: The fruits that come in sufferings. How else could I pray for anyone whose walk I have not at least took a few steps on.
   You can honestly say to anyone who struggles with doubt.  "I know how you feel. You feel angry, worthless and are such a failure in being faithful to following Your Lord." 
     Remember too, beloved--we are told if we want to follow Jesus, He told us, we must take up our cross to follow Him. Not only just take it up---but eagerly embracing it!!!
      Perhaps this action can help you to surrender to the Will of the Father, just like Jesus.

    First, He drew away to pray. He anguished in the Garden as He too faced that Cross. Just as you cry out in anguish---"WHY, God Why!"
   Many have a cross that began even as a baby in the womb as they were touched by the sounds and feelings of parents struggling with their crosses. Then, living with abusive, addicts, or wounded parents they heard more "ugly negative words" that made them feel mentally scourged or tormented like they were beaten with an invisible 'whips.' Words sting! They can wound just as a whip, knife or bullet would.
     Then in school, by peers or teachers, then bosses or co-workers, spouses---more would come as they journeyed---feeling strongly "why?" It is no wonder many have come to not believe in a God---for if God is love---how can He let these trials and tribulations happen to ME---an innocent baby, child, teen and now an adult?
    Many will say there is NO God--there is only hate and hateful people.
Truth? There is a God who gave humans free will and that is why all that is hurtful; like pain, anger, hate came into the perfect world He created.

   Why, did He allow this?
For love to be love---love has be be freely given-willing given. We are not robots--He created us human in His Image. We were given the ability to choose to love and to serve--to be thankful and glad ---our choice. God also 'knows' what it is like to anguish and be deeply sorrowful---for God knows all we feel! We are made in His Image. To be able to Love---then, we must also know pain. Like a woman giving birth to new life.
    So let us see our wounded life is not a forever tragedy---but the process of a butterfly coming from a cocoon, a chick from an egg---a seed broken and dying so new growth can begin --- AFTER it is buried in the dark cold ground!
   Dearly beloved: See not the passion and the cross---but the Resurrection --new Life. Look up at Love or God--Jesus --get up off the pity blanket and walk into Wisdom and live strongly --open to the Holy Spirit's work within you forever!! (Know this to be true---perfection will only be obtained after we die---so yes you will fail here and there --but God is ALL merciful and forgiving!! Just come back quickly to embrace Him by embracing that Cross with deep Understanding of 'Why, God, Why!'
