I'm a Jesus freak
Definition of Virtue: A strong, consistent character trait or moral excellence that leads a person to habitually do what is right, even when difficult, embodying qualities like Courage, Justice, and Wisdom for the benefit of themselves and others, moving beyond near rule, following to a deeper moral disposition.
This is my goal. To obtain all of the qualities of virtue. Everything about its definition is inviting. The explicative words such as Strong, Consistent, Moral Excellence, puts into perspective of its power and radiance one's Soul could possess. I remember my mama always saying, "Oh! But patience is a Virtue!" I understood the word patience but not until I was older did I learn how the word Virtue went so perfectly matched with it.
Virtue is something we should all strive for. What's so unbelievable to me is the fact that all of these wonderful things like Virtue, or Grace, are given freely by God, who is all Virtue and all Grace. If we all were more virtuous, there would be no more homelessness, because we would all be striving for a good moral outcome for each other. If we were more virtuous, there would be no more killing of the unborn. Because everyone would understand the significance and beautiful importance of life. No one has been created without a purpose. We just have to open our eyes and hearts to see the good in all and nurture that good so it doesn't turn bad. To me, it is only in neglect that one strays. Virtue of oneself and the moral statutes that lie within each of us, is the Saving Grace. Constant aiming in the prayer for Virtue is good for the Soul and it's consistency to become as Holy as we should and recognizing that all human beings can possess it. It reminds us daily that the Virtue lies within a Heart, totally abandoned to the Will of God.
