How Satan Rules
When Jesus explained to His Apostles before he left them, He is quoted as saying, “I go before you to prepare a place for you.” And He told them, “But I will never leave you, for when I go, I will send the Holy Spirit to remain with you.” Being a curious individual that I have always been, I cannot rest until I find answers that quiet my soul. Just as we, all of us humans, have different talents, jobs, family size, and income, we all live in different areas, sizes of home and status groups. Does God favor those who have lived their lives to serve Him? Will God reward those who found their way to heaven according to how much they sincerely loved Him and placed Him far above others?
If this is true, will certain individuals stand out, be recognized through their very soul, who they are, and how they lived for Christ, and why they will become standouts in God’s eyes?
If our very death and how our souls are judged are associated with how and why we might be received in heaven, does God not then reward more those who loved Him more than any other, placed Him above all of life’s temptations with sincere love, hope, trust, and gratitude, become as shining souls in heaven? With this very thought in mind, whatever the possibility, would we not want to work our entire lives being one-hundred-percent for Christ, and focus not on our clothes, our cars, or homes, our look, etc.?
Could it be that some just barely made it to heaven, others will be purified in purgatory, and only the remnant will be welcomed with open arms? We hear no Clergy speak of this. We cannot find some of our questions answered in Bible verses; therefore, why do we not live to work for the glory of God, to be an example, to serve God, and inspire others to do the same? As I often say, all of life is temporary, but our afterlife is truly eternal. It is not difficult, then, to make a clear decision on how we want to prepare for becoming a soul that stands out.
Could that require some sort of sacrifices for earthly delights? Possibly it could require some sacrifice, some self-control, focus, and trust in God, but surely, you and I can recognize the value.
