Take something that is bad and shift it to something good

The cross could be a sad symbol. The cross could be a symbol of hate. Instead, Jesus turned the cross, which was used to kill others, into a sign that means hope. The cross now implies that Jesus died for us but also rose again. We, too, can shift things within our hearts. Inspired by Christ, we have the power to outshine hate with love if we choose to do so.
