Discouragement isn't the end

     Discouragement. I've found this to be a great tool of the evil one. He likes to keep us in that state as long as possible. Saying, as long as we dwell on the fact of the matter not working out, the longer he grinds those despairing thoughts into our mind. It's hard to not keep thinking about something that just didn't work out, because we thought it would be beneficial for our well-being. But the reality is, that if you choose God to be the controller, the Chief at Sea, then all you have to do is just sit back and watch His power manifest. 

     Taking control out of your hands and placing it confidently into His is "real peace". Something better than anything you could have ever imagined will unfold, right before your eyes. Me, in my stubbornness, makes it longer than the norm. But somehow He breaks through and I find myself not dwelling on the discouragement so severely. I say severely, because the evil one is watching. Lurking around waiting for that tear to fall or that tone of voice to get extreme. You can always tell when God steps in or if you haven't let Him yet. The constancy of the thoughts get stronger and stronger, when release has not yet been accomplished. But when you do, when you take that step, when you release it to Him, you can finally breathe. 

     I found, going to a quiet place, where you can actually talk straight to God, in the presence of the Angels, it's easier to see or feel "His Will". Those heavy sighs turn to closed eyes of warmth within your Soul. Ah! Sweet Serenity!

     I pray for all of those who do not know the "Prince of Peace", our Almighty God our wonderful God. Or those that have abandoned Him in the midst of seduction to this world. We are not made for this world. This stepping stone that leads us to the "real world" can be done only in our giving our lives completely to Him who takes our hurts, our longings, are discouragements and replaces them with Hope, Trust, and Love.
