Proclaim That WORD of GOD!
Great News! I'M Dying!!!

Really. not kidding—the diagnosis has been handed down! Isn’t this awesome! We all need to hear this Good News!
Remember the wicked witch of the East crying out “I’m dying or was it “I’m melting?” Either way this event occurred after ‘water’ was poured on her. How significantly appropriate is this analogy. Baptized by water—we die to sin. Dead already--but in more ways than one.
How many of us LIVE our daily life? Do we live our life going aimlessly from one task to another? How many of us are down and discouraged, listless and sad due to all that surrounds us now in our world?
Well what are we told to do about the world? Forget it already, turn it off and go back to this one more important thought and GREAT NEWS! You are DYING!! Yes, you are!
Now begin to LIVE!! Appreciate what you have and do not want for more, unless it is needed and then pray for it. Appreciate what you can do, and use what you have or lose it. Appreciate the people you live with, work with and all who are a part of your life. Tell them words you want them to hear---words that you yourself long to hear.
Nobody wants to be unappreciated---so make sure you appreciate all by telling others and God, words that let ALL know just how much they mean to you and make a difference in your life. Give and it shall be given to you!
We can only truly do this, however, if we first really recognize and believe the fact that we are DYING!! From the moment of birth this is a given fact—no one, well maybe Elijah made it out of this world alive.
Begin each day, by waking, taking a deep breath and saying THANK GOD FOR ANOTHER DAY!! Then add, Lord may I truly live this day for You and see in it all the gifts You are giving me today. Then continue this litany of thanks and praise by ‘thinking’ ‘oh look I can breathe, move, and think!” The litany can go on and on as you go forth. Brushing your teeth and coming your hair? YEA!! You see where I am taking you with these thoughts?
See not the work that waits on you, or the menial chores that need to be done. Don’t turn on that morning news, try music instead! Change those daily habits into daily steps of walking in the awareness of all that is great, good, God and appreciate the fact YOU ARE ALIVE—and LIVE!
Not happy---then do what makes you happy. Enjoy the food you eat, appreciating all who made it possible—and the taste, and the fact YOU CAN STILL EAT! Whatever you do as you live--be singleminded, steadfast and avoid multitasking--as this is stressful and steals your joy. whatever action we take--really notice just what a miracle it is that we can do what we do! Appreciate the miracle of YOU!!
I am my happiest when I am helping others, and making them know they are special and appreciated. When I focus on anything negative and think negatively about what IS---then I am DYING inside. So get busy dying to SELF and LIVE for others and Your Lord. That my friends, is pure JOY. Jesus-Others-You!!
So, let us die already---let the waters of life poor over us by soaking in all that God has for us starting with those rays from the Son/Sun and see in this day, each day---all that God has done for us. You are loved!! Believe this, receive this and give this love to all you can—and LIVE—now and forever. AMEN!!

Born the youngest of nine children, raised VERY Catholic across the street from our church and school—Mom and Dad led by example and word their FAITH in God and saw to it that I was given 12 years of Catholic Education. (Mount St. Mary’s Academy/1965)
But, most importantly, because of my parents’ spiritual renewal after attending Cursillo Weekends, I too went on a retreat at our beloved Subiaco Abbey in Arkansas and there, at age 20, gave my life totally, surrendering all to my Lord and best Friend. This was my “Pentecostal” event that left me, like all the early Christians, on fire with God’s love and forever changed.
My husband Robert and I have been married for 50 this year in a marriage arranged by God. We have 8 children, two in heaven, 24 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. The story of our life together can be found in a book titled “My Journey, My Cross-As the Journals End,” published by Westbow Press . Our life together has been one awesome up and down roller coaster ride which enriched my heart with so many of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have found that the only way, Wisdom, Understanding, Words of Knowledge, Discernment, and Healing can be received is first by experiencing in your life the hurts of others. (and you yourself a sword will pierce)* so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2 v 35.
God has blessed me also many other talents and skills--but sometimes, blessings/gifts can and have caused problems or conflict in my life, as I am human and all too quickly that part of me shows up. Thank You God that You also show up!
