The announcing

     Today is Mary's day! Praying in Her room, asking God to send the Messiah and with Her childlike innocence, asking to partake in some small way to be an instrument for this great arrival. Not even realizing Her prayer was to become the Holy Mother of this Messiah. 

     Her surprise at the arrival of sweet Gabriel the Archangel, hearing his Holy words, "Hail Mary, full of Grace", the sudden surge of the longing our God presented to Her was felt by both the Heavens and the earth. Hanging on to that suspenseful moment until She said, "yes". Taking on blindly, except for the trust She held within Her soul, that God "is" all good, all trusting, and all loving. Releasing all people from the snares of evil, She became the new Eve in that very moment. I will forever hold Her high as the greatest Mother of all! 

     Playing with a horn section in the band sent the music into a different wonderful dimension. Think of how creation soared and sounded by the trumpets that blared at Mary's Holy "yes" . Heaven resounded in joy and the earth trembled with Hope. 

     Thank you, sweet Mother Mary, as we honor You today as the Mother of God, the Mother of us all. Hail Mary!
