Saint Faustina - Messenger of Divine Mercy
Revelation Chapter 13 Verse 15 Revisited
Submitted by Thomas Stidl
Are we viewing a foretaste of this verse? The verse is as follows, “It was then permitted to breathe life into the beast's image, so that the beast's image could speak and could have anyone who did not worship it put to death.” I am, of course, referring to the happenings in the Islamic Republic of Iran. As of this writing, we have no idea if the religious leader is alive or living with serious injuries. They have instead created an image of their latest religious leader through Artificial Intelligence giving it the power of speech. The religious leader's followers assassinate all protesters who want the freedoms that are God-given and guaranteed by our United States Constitution.
The people of Iran are compelled to worship this massive religious deception. They are compelled to live under Shariah Law which is an abomination of the law peace and love as preached by Jesus Christ. While Christian principles exemplify freedom, peace, and love, Iran's version of Islamic principles exemplify just the opposite. In case any of you have not noticed, Iran cannot coexist with its neighbors unless it dominates them. Their constant message and actions breed war and distrust. They also employ proxies or other nations to accomplish their ability to disrupt the peaceful coexistence among nations. They are intent on bringing disruption and destruction to the State of Israel, the United States Of America, and the rest of the world. They wish to become the catalyst that ends the age earlier than the plan of God. If they succeed, the judgment of God will be upon them.
As for me, although that I am very satisfied to visit the true presence of Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar, I actually would love to see Jesus walk once again on the face of the earth and establish the physical kingdom of God on earth where sin is no more. As a former usher I would greet Him and welcome Him back. He would certainly be a sight for sore eyes. However, I would still defer that decision to God the Father as to when He would want this to happen. The return of Jesus is not a human decision, but, it is God the Father's decision. God does not need our help for this decision. What God needs is for us to be faithful to His Son's message, and to remember that we always live in His Presence wherever we are. As that old Baltimore Catechism taught me years ago, God is everywhere.
Until next time, Laus Tibi, Christe. Laus Deo. Deo Gratias. See you in
Paradise. Amen.
