The Warnings Given By Our Lady At Fatima Are The Same As Those She Delivered In Quito!
EXCLUSIVE: Dutch bishop says Church in Netherlands has collapsed, warns Germany may be next - LifeSite www.LifeSiteNews.com
Commentary by Larry Welch, M. Div., R.T. (ARRT) a retired healthcare professional as is my wife of 46 years of marriage. And I was a seminarian from 1968-1975 with the SMA Fathers (Society of African Missions).
Dutch bishop, Roberts Mutsaerts, told LifeSiteNews that he recalls
"how the Dutch Church initiated a heterodox reform project (the introduction of liturgical innovations) after the Second Vatican Council that led to a total collapse in faith and church attendance."
Bishop Mutsaerts also said that it was due to the "heterodox reforms" of Vatican II - that just 2% of Catholics in the Netherlands now attend Sunday Mass, down from 96% in some parts of the country.
It should be noted that "heterodox reforms" in the liturgy were "REJECTED" by Pope John XXIII, the Council fathers & Padre Pio!
Regardless, Pope Paul VI's "intention" was to implement "heterodox reforms" in the Mass and make it appealing to Protestants and to non-Christian religions. Pope Paul VI actually told his intimate friend,
Jean Guitton, who was a peritus at Vatican II - that he did not want the
New Order Mass to be "too Catholic," which ties into how he "reinterpreted" Ecumenism. Pope Paul VI's interpretation of Ecumenism was not how the Church had defined it for centuries.
That had catastrophic consequences! Therein lies a story for another time.
Our Lady of Good Success "warned us" in Quito, Ecuador in the 16th
century about a "complete loss of Tradition" in the Church and a "great crisis" that would be unparalleled in Church history, beginning towards the end of the 19th century, and reaching a "crescendo" in the mid-20th century. That certainly describes Vatican II very well.
Our Lady of Good Success "called it!" Naturally, as the Mother of God she knew about the "great crisis" that would unfold in her Church when the Shepherds of the Church "abandoned" long held & safeguarded Church Tradition, rites and customs, preferring to live in the world and by its values. Our Lady of Fatima spoke of this as well.
Why most Catholics, particularly the clergy, pay "no heed" whatsoever to the Church "approved" messages & warnings of Our Lady is simply incomprehensible to me! Oremus!

Nota bene: In addition to the "WARNINGS" of Our Lady of Good Success in the 16th century about the "great crisis" that would occur in the Church, especially in the mid-20th century, the time of Vatican II, also in 1846 Our Lady of La Salette "prophesized" that the visible structures of the Church would be eclipsed, and only a "remnant" would remain faithful to Tradition! That is exactly what happened with Vatican II, that Pope Paul VI "hijacked!" Liturgical & theological orthodoxy were virtually "jettisoned" in the name of "aggiornamento" and "dialogue" with the world!
In regard to "visible structures of the Church being eclipsed," the split from the Roman Rite to the "liturgical innovations" of the New Mass, compliments of Pope Paul VI, Archbishop Annibale Bugnini, a known Freemason, and 6 prominent Protestant ministers, there was an abrupt "schism" in the Church. It was obvious to the world and felt deeply by Catholics, both clergy & laity, throughout the universal Church. Much "confusion, chaos & division" ensued after the Second Vatican Council, and it has festered to the time we now live in and sadly continues to cause "havoc" in the Church, such as we see happening in the Netherlands and many other places.
The "havoc" that followed in the wake of Vatican II when I was in the seminary from 1968-1975 with the SMA Fathers (Society of African Missions) was "palpable" - as it is once again - with the "rift" between the "Conciliar Church of Vatican II & the Catholic Church (the Church of Tradition)."
The advocates of a "Conciliar/Synodal Church," which is a "Church of Accompaniment" have been "gaslit" as to what Vatican II was actually all about, as I once was, I regret to say!
Our Lord "did not" establish a "Church of Accompaniment" upon Peter! Pope Paul VI obviously did not agree with that as the evidence shows! Paul VI was on a personal mission to have a "Church of Accommodation" to the world, which is why he was "opposed" to Rome being the central authority of the Church. Instead, Pope Paul VI wanted & regrettably got a "Conciliar/Synodal Church," which is by definition a "Church of Dialogue!" Again, Our Lord never wanted His Church to be a "Dialogue Church!" AMEN!
