Listen, and He will speak
All of the different kinds of trees. All of the hundreds of different kinds of flowers, of birds, of each new sunrise and sunset, that are never ever identical. All because of the Wonder of it all. The Wonder of the One who created it all. Our God. The true Wonder. The curtain in the temple has been torn in two. Death has been defeated. Yes, The Wonder of it all!
Science can try to take credit, but who created Science? You can believe in The Big Bang Theory all that you want, but there was a Creator, our God, behind it all and if you don't believe that, that God did it all, then I feel sorry for you.
No one will ever go through what our Jesus, our God, went through, to not have anyone believe that He didn't do what He said He would. Long before Jesus came, it was already written down for the scholars to read about and await. But the scales on their eyes, kept them from seeing what was right before them. Just like we do lots of times, especially when we need proof. Well, the proof came on that dark and cloudy Friday, when Jesus hung on that cross and proclaimed forgiveness to all of His persecutors. We were His persecutors.
God's plan was already in motion from the very instant of Adam and Eve's fall from humanity. A great plan to redeem and take back the very Creation that He had created. The Wonder of it all!
This day, still, after over 2,000 years, yes! 2,000 years, we are still celebrating our Redemption. All because our God loves us. It is renewed and recapped every single Lent and Easter, as we celebrate with great joy our Salvation, so bitterly, yet wonderfully, given back to us. A fallen people.
There's no getting around it. No denying it. God is God. And He is a good God. A loving and merciful God. He will never ever leave us at a loss. Only us humans can do that. All answers, all facts come alive when we believe. That takes surrender. A surrender to the Truth. The Truth is, that He has risen and saved us all from eternal death. That the Gates of Heaven have been opened once again for all of us to walk through and live in splendor.
That, is the Truth and that is the Wonder of it all!
