Being Anti Ukraine is supporting evil
Before we get started, please read my previous article, here; A Study on Genesis Part II, remember, I wrote a book, you can find more about it, here, Elisabeth and the other man (paperback), and here; Elisabeth and the other man (ebook), and be sure to check out my latest on Locals; The Good News of Good Friday
“And he who talk to me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city and its gates and walls. The city lies foursqare, its length the same as its breath; and he measured the city with his rod, twelve thousand stadia; its length and breadth and height are equal. He also measured its wall, a hundred and forty-four cubits by a man's measure, that is, an angel's. The wall was built of jasper, while the city was pure gold, clear as glass. The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every jewel; the first was jasper, while the city was pure gold, clear as glass. The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with with every jewel; the first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh crhrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chyrophrase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst. And the twelfth gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass”. (Revelation 21:15-21).
So, I found a CD case in my house (and yes, it's not just us old people that listen to CDs, I'm Shocked! What is REALLY behind the CD Comeback!), and one of those CD's? Rock music's favourite punching bag, and a band I love, Creed.
And I was listening to Higher, and I couldn't help but think of Revelation 21:21.
I think a lot of people want to pick on Creed, which is unfortunate, especially when you realize just how meaningful their lyrics are,
“Can you take me higher To a place where blind men see? Can you take me higher To a place with golden streets? “
So, ALL Christians agree that the Book of Revelation has a lot of symbolism (which it does, Trent Horn warns against how to get heaven wrong, here; How Bestselling Books Get Heaven WRONG).
But, for me, I think the point is, “the New Jerusalem is something so beautiful, that you can't even imagine it, and don't even try, and I'm giving you what I saw”. Also, so not to get accused of heresy; Where Is the New Jerusalem?.
God's kingdom is beyond anything that you can imagine. The most beautiful jewels, the most beautiful cathedral on earth, while beautiful and giving glory to God, is nothing compared to the New Jerusalem.
