Praying for Poor Souls; We are with them in Spirit!

We cannot deal in abstracts when Purgatory is described; we are visually, physically, and indeed spiritually next to them. How else could any of them reach out to us for prayer and supplication for their expiation? Here we deal with dimensions that seem to be found in every aspect of life without touching or absorbing their entity as a positive piece of real estate.

Dimensions can be seen or understood as size, measurement, magnitude, extent, scope, aspect, or range. There was an English film about a boy searching for a way to travel back in time. (from the internet). Does that make us wonder where a dimension is located or can be reached as a human endeavor?

Questioning just how those in Purgatory reach out to us for prayer, how many souls can be in one place (dimension) at the same time. Using the expression of how many angels can dance on the point of a needle; it has no real indication of placing things or souls in a space that really has no borders. We are ready to hear from Poor Souls whenever they choose.

When discussing the existence or placement of heaven, hell, purgatory, or our own presence at any portal of Spiritual existence, we must remember on earth we deal with size, weight, proportional existence and what we can see, feel, or taste. Purgatory does not fit in these attributes.

There are moments when I am praying for souls in purgatory that almost visualize (in my mind) of those I am thinking about are there as a reminder of whom it is that is seeking my prayers. Is that a far-out conception of what is actually happening? Of course not, since this is not an exam of my faith as to what the other side or dimension may or could be like. For me it is another thought of what is there that we cannot see, but know it is real.

Is it possible for any of us to reach an unknown understanding of what lies beyond the borders of our own mind when even theologians wrestle with what we cannot see yet know there is more than meets the eye about God and his mysteries that are waiting for us to understand. In a mystical manner there are no borders of the mind that are limited to these answers that only angels might have a solution. However, what could be the limit that a searching brain wants to know and understand enough to realize it is already deep inside God’s Essence with a closeness that opens the entry into divine life?

Contemplating the reality of reaching beyond the world’s limitations of what we see or hear is what a mystical view or spiritual observation that has no boundaries and is just beyond the human aspect of must see to believe is no longer my forte’.

This thought places a dimension of understanding that lies among the Church Penitent to our Church Militant, into the very souls in the Church Triumphant where together there is no separation except the expiated souls seeking our prayers. They wait; we pray; Christ and the Blessed Mother are there with us and them.

Now we see with a view of what is before us as an unscrutinized aura of blessings created by God, watched over by angels, comforted by the Blessed Mother of God, and preparing their expiation into the arms of Christ and into the Church Triumphant in a place more than a dimension.

To make these entities more than a dimension of spiritual thought; they are each one real, substantial, and watches over us; living, dying into purification, and in the arms of Almighty God.
