Pornography In Libraries Is Not Only Wrong, It Destroys The Foundations Of Civilized Order, Of Everything That Is Good In A Nation.

It is an incredible error of a civilized people to begin placing our hearts on the abyss of self, to glorify and worship self image, and place our focus not on a greater good, but on ourselves. This causes us to go to a fountain, and what fountain is this, but one which has one motivation and one alone: what makes me feel better? If we follow this road, expounding on all that satisfies our own indulgence, we will be lost into the abyss of self indulgence, in chasing after the lust of our hearts, and going nowhere but to the pit, to hell, because we are devouring ourselves!

This is what confronts young hearts who do not know what they are seeing when they are coming face to face with pornography at the library! They are being thrust into a world where there is no call to serve anything else but yourself, that the worship of our hearts is now this idea of me, of my own pleasure, of my own satisfiaction being in pursuit of this hogwash! We are created not to worship and serve ourselves, but to rise up and serve a higher cause, a greater good. A true Roman is not a Roman who has the most pleasure in the bathouse for himself, he is the greatest Roman who offers the most to Rome, who builds the most bricks of Rome through the work he sacrifices for the good of his country. He is not looking to himself but to others; he is building others up and not himself. His life has a purpose, he is part of God’s whole plan of Creation, working to accomplish a greater mission – the service of the commonwealth of civilization.

This is our call, to raise each other up; this is our cause, to be individuals who love our neighbor, and who are eager to offer our hearts in service of the world. It is an abomination, a corruption of nature, to turn the completely opposite way, and begin to ask of the world: what can you give me? What do I receive? How am I served? How is my chief purpose, myself, vindicated in this instance? If we are only after our own gain, we will fall into anarchy and chaos; but united to a greater good, God, all of us will rise up to the aid of every other person, and every discipline will explode in abundance, and we will have peace and there will be order – this because a system is now in working order, that of all peoples coming together to be united in one chord, one love, one God.

This is why God is so necessary, the axis on which all society functions, and upon who alone alone society can stand; and why modern culture, that places the focus on us, on man, is so abominidable to all that is good – it is carving out an abyss in our nation, and eagerly calling all of us to throw ourselves into it. But do not; do not go into the wide way of the world; but stand strong on truth, and never be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God for the salvation of all who believe. (Romans 1:16) Overcome the lies of the world through the simple truth of Jesus Christ; so obvious, one simply has to open one's heart to the light!
