Have faith in the light and the dark

It is easy to have faith in the light. When all is well, we easily believe in God, thinking that he is watching over us. He is, of course, watching over us when things are well, but he is also watching over us as we sort through troubled times, too. It is easy to believe in the light, but can we believe in the dark? There are times when everything we touch turns to gold and others when it turns to garbage. This is life. The key, however, is to keep the same amount of faith throughout. Make our faith strong from start to finish. Believe when it is easy and also when it is hard. This is why faith truly matters. It should be a constant in our lives just as God is! Do not let it grow or wane; rather, keep our faith level as we go through life. God will guide us. We must trust him, even when it is hard to do so.
