A new chapter in The Book of Life
I compare our lives to hour glasses. With each individual, having their own beautiful glass full of sand. Sand, as fast as it is, sinks down differently for everyone. Still, the sand falls. Some try to turn the hourglass over so that the sand restarts, but eventually, they realize there is no stopping those little particles from falling to the bottom once again.
Even conversion does not stop the sand from falling. But it does make it a definite change in color. A Golden color where it once was a dull Gray. The sands existence takes on a new awareness, a bright new meaning. The dread of Life disappears taking on a different role. Now, each speck of sand is respected. It falls with Joy where once there was no care.
I guess some people think they will live forever. I see the waste of their time. They're non-belief. They're determination to still wallow in the glow of Fame. Children are being taught to change that wonderful self that they were born with. Fear and despair fed with pills that may help a little, but still occurs, so as to keep the habit going. To me, if there was more advice given about the real cure, our Beloved Jesus, then the hourglass of time would not be seem so feared and hopeless.
Everyone is deemed with their own hourglass. The ones who sands fall appropriately, usually are the happiest. The ones who try to stop the actual flow seem so unsettled. Something is missing. Usually, it's God in their lives. And we all know that if He isn't there, our hourglass is cracked or flawed somehow. Letting God repair that hourglass, helps the sands of time flow freely, and then our Happiness can be complete, and we can live out our days, with the greatest assurance that someday, we will live forever, with the "Sandman", in Heaven.
