The butterfly
Yes! I spelled it this way for a reason. Because I consider "Faith" as a "magnet" to God. It immediately clings us to God in such a supernatural way, that our prayers and thoughts cannot help but magnetize our Faith to His Almighty Heart. No matter what the outcome, the Faith in which we prayed has been heard and deemed fitting for that outcome. No prayer goes unanswered or unheard. No words we say to God on behalf of our petition, said with Faith, will not fail. There is a lesson in every mishap, and every trial, in every trauma that we go through. God's ways are not like ours. He wishes only the best for us so we must trust Him with our Faith in Him.
Remembering this, deepens the prayer said with Faith. It's magnetic forces are just that. A force. Jesus prayed with the force of Faith in The Garden of Gethsemane. With all of the fear the evil one tried to put in front of Him as a distraction. He still surrendered with great Faith. We are humans and God knows that. Deepening our Faith and trusting that God knows best, can be hard in traumatic times. But the more we strive for it, the more we will attain it. What we want, I'm sure is always considered by God's rules, but should be first attempted to connect ourselves with the magnet of Faith. He does not leave us there alone. He is always right beside us. Seeing us in our agony, He adheres Himself with His presence. Faith teaches us that. The Holy Spirit assures us of that and ultimately, God has said it.
When we are vulnerable to doubt, or despair, God pushes that little mustard seed into our souls. Helping us to accept whatever will come to be.
Faith is Trust. Trust is Gratitude. Gratitude is Thankfulness. And in all Thankfulness there is Love. At its highest form. The Magnetude of Faith will always keep us in Peace, the Peace of Christ Jesus who "is" the magnet that completes the Holy Triune, that is the Blessed Trinity.
St Bernardine of Siena, pray for us!
