May, is Mary's month. June, is Jesus's. Never ever forgetting Mary of course, we also focus on dedicating June to Jesus, our Father
June 3rd starts a beautiful Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Going for nine consecutive days, we beseech Jesus, to hear our prayers and grant us our petitions. In this Holy Novena, we asked to have a personal relationship with Jesus as we entrust our needs and our wants to His most Holy Will. We contemplate the Sacred Heart to help us be more aware of who is the source of all Love. The fountain of all riches. The Oracle of all knowledge. The One that ultimately gets all things laid at His feet.
His Sacred Heart beats within each of us. Our hearts may use our bodies to be placed in, but it is His Heart that rests within each of us. His Blood that keeps it pumping, because He does reside inside us. His Sacred Heart is felt and still beats with joy and sorrow. He points to it in every picture that shows Him standing there with His Sacred Heart exposed. Reminding us of the great Love He has for us. Pointing to it to help us see what He did for us. To make our hearts beat with total resignation to the fact that He gives us His Sacred Heart to unify it with ours. See the rays of light surround that Sacred Heart of His that is wrapped in a Crown of Thorns, so that we can remember. Never forgetting the pain it holds and the purpose for Calvary. As He stands alive today, His Sacred Heart reigns. It holds each and every one of us inside of it. Let us run to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Let us let Mary, His Mother and ours, lead us to Him.
The Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus starts on June 3rd and ends on June 11th. Appropriately, the final day being, the Consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Pray for America. Pray for All Souls that reside within its free walls of freedom. Pray for conversion. Pray for our great nation to come back to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. For there is no freedom, except within the walls of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Our protector, our leader, our God.
