Disappointing Election Results; Warning Shots; What Can Be Done Better
Trevor Williams is coming under hot water, and it’s all for the right reasons that will get God cheering. Williams has been an outspoken athlete who is known for calling out the filth happening in our society. One example was the controversy in Los Angeles to allow a drag queen group to perform at Dodger Stadium.
An undercover video from James O’Keefe has no punches to hold back against the media department of the Washington Nationals. Since the leaked video, Sean Hudson was fired by the team.
Here is what Hudson said in the video.
“One of our pitchers, Trevor Williams. He’s super Christian-Catholic...”
“The Dodgers had a group… who were drag queens who sometimes dressed up as nuns. He went on social media like… ‘This is my religion. You all are mocking it.’”
“Because of that, we [Washington Nationals] don’t use him on social [media].”
This act of discrimination is urged by Rep. Lauren Boebert to call for an immediate investigation.
CatholicVote CEO Kelsey Reinhardt claimed the video showed a “direct admission that a Catholic player may have been excluded from official team promotion because he publicly defended his faith.”
“Catholics are not asking for special treatment. We are demanding equal treatment under the law,” she said. CatholicVote said it asked the Department of Justice to investigate the team for the alleged discrimination.
Trevor Williams released a statement. He states that when he dies, and “St. Peter greets me at the gate, he’s not going to ask your win-loss record was… He’s going to ask ‘How did you build the Kingdom of God?”
Williams is the athlete that we must get behind. He is not taking the mound for tens of thousands of fans. He’s pitching for Christ the King.
We, too, must do our part now to bring about the Kingdom of God
