AI;  Is it - or Is it not?

Just what does it mean to find an artificial anything to appease our appetites?  At one time in our early history when we had to compromise with cooking simple meals, find new ways for children to amuse themselves when ballfields were not around, and do you remember the days before television?  

They were common yet most people discovered make-believe foods for dinner, children were happy with cardboard boxes, and families always created their own simple activities to stay together and talk as a family with spiritual and educational aspects of their daily routines.

Well of course with the industrialization of modern inventions people began to climb out of their boring atmosphere and found new recipes and automatic cooking devices to make the dining room table a welcome aspect of meals.  Electric bicycles have taken over the red wagons and semi-pro sports teams have become the rule of the day for after-school activities.  And what about the family atmosphere of sharing spiritual and educational thoughts that we learned in Church or in school?  What indeed?

AI, a new invention that wants to make life easier, or eventually take over our individual decision making for many of our once personal grasp on our own manner of deciding for ourselves our next move?  Take this scenario of God finding prophets to announce his plan of salvation for sinners.  Suppose that none of these prophets had the ability to analyze what God spoke to them about God’s word and somehow a magical instruction tablet interpreted what God meant by introducing an artificial direction to his teaching.  What is easy now for us to seek his favor was to do what we felt was spiritually ok according to how we interpret his word.  

What may very well occur with AI is to miss the bible and other philosophical periodicals that taught our parents in 2026 and beyond and find the only replacements are AI accepted.  That is when we will have succumbed to a new understanding that does not need spiritual thoughts or methods of our own consciousness that could invent, discover, and produce new ways for man to live in a world that still needs individual thoughts.

See the vehicles that now are driverless and do not react to something that isn’t installed in its typical electronic technology it doesn’t know to stop or avoid hitting something or someone.  That gives us an idea of how AI might react without human understanding.

It certainly should make us aware of the possibilities that machines may take over much of what our human intellect already has some control in our lives and there will be too much that we cannot adjust the confines of something that will be out of our reach or control.
