Walk in the light of God
Ask, knock, and seek. But remember. With a sincere and penitent heart we must do so. Persistence is one key. Determination, another. Resistance, on the other hand, can complicate a desire or petition. As Jesus points to His Sacred Heart, while looking straight into our eyes, straight into our heart, He's assuring us, all will be taken care of as long as we reside, beside, Him.
The weather makes my shoulder and elbow act up sometimes. I think to myself, " how did you do it Jesus? " Here I am, hardly able to raise my arm and all the while, grimacing and making sure my ears are hearing my moans. You, my Lord, who were hungry, tired, dreadfully sad with the weight of the world's sins, knowing that your mind and body, still carried that unforgiving heavy cross on your wounded shoulder. You did not hesitate to keep going. Without complaint.! Oh! How weak I am! Oh! The wretchedness of sin! The Scarlet Red it leaves! The heaviness to our own souls it weighs down. The pains in my shoulder are nothing compared to the pain sin gives to our God. Only in atonement do we wash those painful wounds of yours, my Lord.
Mercy and forgiveness is what I ask. Strength and stout-heartedness is the door I knock at. Your tender love and secure arms around me is what I seek. Help me oh God, to always find you. In the Sacred Heart of Jesus I wish to remain forever. Let the Holy Spirit fly to my soul and fill my whole being with tender Mercy. There, I shall stand strong and willing to the resignation of Thy Holy Will and return by tender Love a hundredfold.
Oh Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in you, take care of everything.
