Jesus said, "blessed are they"
This new movie about the history of Jesus and His giving of His Sacred Heart to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, a French nun, 350 years ago, is quite spectacular and a must-see. It delves into the force of just how much are Jesus wants His Sacred Heart to reign in all hearts. Being His Holy instrument, St Margaret Mary is given, His actual beating Heart in exchange for hers. With all its joys and sufferings, this great Saint resigned herself to feel what Jesus' Heart feels. It's very sombering to see what His Heart experienced and still experiences as the struggle of human suffering continues along with His suffering. He is totally God, as His Love for us, suffers right along with us in our own trials. But uniting our heart to His, makes the suffering tolerable and quite beautiful. The movie depicts many informative moments from historians. From priests and nuns who recollect the memory of this great event also. Although they could not mention every instance of this beautiful exchange, one still understands it's great meaning. She (St Margaret Mary Alacoque) was quite tormented by visible and invisible forces that made the intensity of the reality of being chosen to hold His Sacred Heart within her body very harsh at times. Some of her own peers doubted her. Religious were always questioning her. The price many Saints have to pay as chosen vessels of God.
Many historians talk about the history and importance of Consecrating our hearts to Jesus. Including our homes, family, the world, and are very selves to our Jesus, united to the Trinity.
