I Am Thinking of You. Do You Remember Me?
What Carlo Acutis Was Told By Our Blessed Mother Before His Death, Now
Shared With Us by His Mother
Eileen Renders
Before his death, Carlo Acutis’ mother stayed with him, almost continually sleeping in a chair by his bedside. One day, she got up to leave the room for a few minutes, and upon her return, she found her son prostrate on the floor, looking up earnestly. She did not want to disrupt whatever he was doing and stayed outside in the hallway with his door slightly ajar. A few minutes later, one of the nurses came up behind her. She, too, stood at the doorway behind Mrs. Acutis. She quietly told his mother that she had come to his room because she noticed on their monitoring system that Carlo’s vital signs had just normalized.
Carlo had remained on his knees for quite a while with a smile on his face. When Carlo got up, he climbed back up into his bed and noticed his mother standing at the threshold of his door. “Mom, come in”, he beckoned. Mrs. Acutis entered the room, and Carlo began to speak, saying, “Mom, I have something to tell you, and it is very important.” He continued, “But, Mom, you must share this with everyone, and be careful that you do not share this as though it is about you, but stay focused on the message.” Carlo went on to share with his mother what the Blessed Virgin Mary had just told him about the Three Days of Darkness that would be coming!”
Carlo’s Mother is doing what her son requested of her, and what Our Blessed Mother wants us to know.
Carlo said, “Mom, for three days it will be so dark that you will not be able to see your hand in front of your face. Only blessed candles will shed light. There will be a line drawn on Earth between sinners and those without sin. There will be many demons roaming the earth. Carlo continued, saying, "Keep food in the house that will not go bad." Prepare your soul by going to the sacraments regularly, remaining free of sin, and praying.
Mrs. Acutis did not know how to respond to all of this information Our Lady gave to Carlo. She asked, “When will this all occur”? Carlo responded, saying, “I do not know, Mom, but I know it will happen between 2030 and 2035.”
The Catholic Church has told us not to believe in private revelations, and that we should interpret them metaphorically (symbolically) rather than literally.
We can, however, reflect that Blessed Carlo Acutis is becoming Saint Carlo Acutis, and there have been miracles attributed to his intercession. We could take this message symbolically, remain sin-free, and keep a couple of blessed candles in our home. It is always good to pray for the best, but be prepared for the worst.
Carlo spent his brief years on Earth (since 2 years of age) desiring more than anything to be able to go to Holy Communion and receive Jesus. He has spent years on the computer documenting Eucharistic miracles that have occurred around the world.
