Prayer in a New Presidential Era

Praying for major awakening of an entire culture:

Who've learned to advance intolerance in the name of tolerance;

Who have not understood that naming something "judgmental" is, itself, a judgment, such that we recognize our objective is to rightly judge;

Who refuse to accept the undeniable verdict of nature regarding the complimentary and function of man and woman, and human personhood from the moment of conception;

Who have reduced human dignity, and politics, from a primary purpose of ennobling and empowering, to one of denigrating and entitling;

Who have failed to recognize that there can be no truth without love, nor love without truth;

Who have failed to recognize that all institutions are measured not by the degree to which they promote our passions as our master, but ennoble us to be masters of our passions;

Whose fundamental philosophy of "anything goes," itself, must go.

The possibility of a truly great America now turns to you and me, in our marriages, homes, communities and world. It demands our availing to power beyond us. We are all sinners without which we would not need a Savior. We all share the ultimate purpose and "orientation," from sin to salvation.

I am committed to making America great.
COME, LORD JESUS, COME!
