In my prison of this earthly body, you have blessed me O Lord to taste Thy love. I taste Thy love, when I see the animals playfully play with the flowers hanging off trees you have watered with raindrops from above. I taste Thy love, with a smile from Your images You made in my fellow beings. I taste Thy love, in my friends who warm my heart when I am in their midst. I taste Thy love, in the kids of my friends who show me how to take life lightly. I taste Thy love, in food enjoyed in the company of good friends. I taste Thy love, from my friends in their empathy. I taste Thy love; in the friends you gave me with Your love. Bless my friends, O Lord who bless me by their presence, by letting me be in their presence through their being. In their being You are present as they become love; which is You fully manifested.
Dedicated to my dear friends Cole & Lindsay Popham
