Saints Peter and Paul

These two men one a fisherman

The other a Jewish official

And with God’s help the Church they began

Slowly at first but definitely a solid trickle

There message upset society

Jailed stoned shunned were they

Saint Stephen the first for Christ to die

Others followed for telling truth not a lie

Saints Peter and Paul also were martyred

Like the others their message riled up discord

So. for Christ Jesus they would be killed

But not before they had spread the Word of the Lord

Now it’s our time to evangelize God’s Word

Yes thus we have to

Go out and tell the world about the Lord

How He loves everyone not just me and you

Amen
