July 2026 Feast Days and Sunday Readings
July will soon be here. It is the month dedicated to the Most Precious Blood of Jesus. America will celebrate her 250th birthday. Catholics are encouraged to pray the patriotic rosary and even make a Holy Hour for the reparations of sin and conversion of those who attack God’s given liberties.
The pope’s intention is for a respect for all human life.

The Gospel readings for July are taken from St. Matthew. All Sunday readings are from Cycle A, and Weekday readings are from Year II.
July 5th, Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Cycle A, Mt 11:25-30: I am meek and humble of heart.
July 12th Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Cycle A, Mt 13:1-23: A sower went out to sow.
July 19th, Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Cycle A, Mt 13:24-43: Let them grow together until harvest.
July 26th Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Cycle A, Mt 13:44-46: He sells all that he has and buys the field.
July tends to have hot and humid days. The harvest from spring will mature, and like us would need water. In addition, Catholics need to continue to receive the sacraments. We are dependent on them.
