The “Unfair” American Flag & the Bible's Composition

I always thought it was unfair that the stripes took up a much larger portion of the American flag than the stars.

And my home state is one of the 13 states represented by both a star and a stripe. 

Since the stripes represent the 13 original British colonies and the stars represent the 50 states, shouldn’t the stars take up a majority of the flag instead of the stripes?

Wouldn't that be fairer to the 37 stripeless states?

I recently noticed that when the American flag is displayed on a wall-mounted flagpole (like on a front porch or a classroom wall), on a freestanding pole (like in an office), or on an in-ground flagpole (IF there's no wind)...

The blue starry part is highest vertically—like a crown on top!

That's fitting! 

The area of stars, like the New Testament making up a minority of the Bible, makes up a minority of the American flag.

The area of stripes, like the Old Testament making up a majority of the Bible, makes up a majority of the American flag.  

Those bleeding stripes remind us of the difficult journey to the Declaration of Independence. 

The Old Testament takes us on the difficult journey to the coming of Christ.

Reminiscent of how the New Testament is the crowning glory of the Bible, the blue starry part of the American flag is the part reigning highest.
