Faith gives freedom

This weekend the United States of America celebrates its 250th anniversary. July 4th marks the date that one nation under God was founded. People sometimes question why America is one nation under God. The answer is simple. Faith gives freedom. Believing in a higher power gives us someone to pray to, seek guidance from and reminds us that the woes of this world are not forever. Believing in God reminds us that there is more to the beauty of life than just this world. Freedom and faith go hand in hand and on the 250th anniversary of the United States it is important to be grateful for both.
