When confronted with a choice our Spirit tells us one remains; Christ's Passion!
Hate is the one entity that can destroy relationships without the premise of love!
With all the hate that appears to be surrounding our world, how much love will be needed to bring people to their senses and realize just who we are as believers in God? This is not the first article I’ve put forth regarding this immoral and destructive part of life. My reason for bringing this to light once again is due to the recent strain on religion, politics, and neighborly love that has all but drifted into an unknown world that has become so corrupt that there isn’t much familiarity where people once knew each other by personal concern and helpfulness.
We just celebrated the 4th of July where so many in this United States of America refused to be respectful for what our Constitution of the United States stands for and the very flag that symbolizes the suffering of our ancestors who fought for freedoms that are being put down because of some members of congress have chosen Communism over what Democracy is all about. A warning here is Socialism is not a protection of freedom and those who advocate it will discover their blindness of what most of us just celebrated this 4th of July.
As a great grandfather of 13 children my question for humanity is, “What type of world are we preparing for their generation when they reach the age of adolescence and are expected to be at an age of discernment for peace and love for each other?
A society is a group of persons bound together organically by a principle of unity that goes beyond each one of them. As an assembly that is at once visible and spiritual, a society endures through time: it gathers up the past and prepares for the future. By means of society, each man is established as an “heir” and receives certain “talents” that enrich his identity and whose fruits he must develop. He rightly owes loyalty to the communities of which he is part and respect to those in authority who have charge of the common good. (CCC 1880).
If we look hard we will see that Socialistic people will say that the above paragraph will fit well with the dictates of Socialism (Communism). However they fail to tell their prospective followers that this promotion of social living removes the very God-given talent of self-reliance, reason to seek new avenues of human ingenuity, build the promotion of being teachers of the will of God, and stand as purveyors of respect for God as the supreme leader that begins with love of him, first. The center of their governing mandate is the importance of a dictator and his or her desire to be honored as their god.
Created in the image of the one God and equally endowed with rational souls, all men have the same nature and the same origin. “Redeemed by the sacrifice of Christ, all are called to participate in the same divine beatitude: all therefore enjoy an equal dignity.” (CCC 1934).
Political authorities are obliged to respect the fundamental rights of the human person. They will dispense justice humanely by respecting the rights of everyone, especially of families and the disadvantaged. (CCC 2237).
The political rights attached to citizenship can and should be granted according to the requirements of the common good. They cannot be suspended by public authorities without legitimate and proportionate reasons. Political rights are meant to be exercised for the common good of the nation and the human community. (follows the CCC 2237).
The citizen is obliged in conscience not to follow the directives of civil authorities when they are contrary to the demands of the moral order, to the fundamental rights of persons or the teaching of the Gospel. Refusing obedience to civil authorities, when their demands are contrary to those of an upright conscience, finds its justification in the distinction between serving God and serving the political community. “Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God’s.” “We must obey God rather than men.” (CCC 2242).
When citizens are under the oppression of a public authority which oversteps its competence, they should still not refuse to give or to do what is objectively demanded of them by the common good; but it is legitimate for them to defend their own rights and those of their fellow citizens against the abuse of this authority within the limits of the natural law and the Law of the Gospel. (GS) (Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modern World).
Everything Socialism (Communism) that promises the people is erroneous and stands against God, the teaching of the Gospel, and will end up destroying those who decide to follow its dictates; beginning with their faith and the possible loss of their souls.
