What Is at Stake with 2026 Midterm Election?

Primary cycles are coming to an end in many states. The candidates will resume the campaign trails in the coming weeks, and the fear-mongering ads will dominate our TV, Radio, and even doomscrolling.

One thing is for certain is that there no such thing as Democrat or Republican anymore. It’s either communism/socialism or America. We are seeing more radical communists and freeloading socialists who hate America claim victory in their not-so-respectable primary races and have eyes on bringing about an ideology that has failed in Russia, Germany, China, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela. They also will have no platform but hating America and everything this country has stood for since its inception in 1776.  The sad part is that many of them have a following thanks in large part to the indoctrination of our education system.

History Lesson

Perhaps the lesson of Troy and its Trojan horse needs to be repeated. The Trojan horse offered by Odysseus was a fake offering. What the Greeks refuse to understand is that there were warnings of what could happen. Laocoön, a priest in Troy, famously warned his people, “I fear the Greeks, even bearing gifts”. He even hurled a spear into the wooden side of the horse. He and his sons would be devoured by sea serpents.

Even King Priam’s daughter, Cassandra, foresaw it happening. Yet, her words were not heeded by others. By nightfall, the gift was brought into Troy, and the Greeks successfully raided the city.

America already has the Trojan horse in America, and little by little, the communists are infiltrating major cities. Some iconic leaders and clergy have warned about communism's envious plan to take over America.  Now, we are witnessing the proliferation of America if we don’t take a stand. It is thanks in large part to the false virtue of tolerance.

Archbishop Charles Chaput once said that tolerance is preached “until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good."  

Communism hates what God created and wants to be the God that everyone should obey. That is idolatry. It is the work of Satan.

Catholics who have supported communism/socialism must repent of their actions or lack of action.

Even Pope Leo XIII was worried about how socialism would take root. He considered socialists as “setting aside the parent and setting up a state supervision, acting against natural justice, and destroying the structure of the home.”

This all can be stopped by ensuring that watered-down Christianity is no more. It is easy to think that the fingers can be pointed at the broken education system, the rigged politics, or not doing enough. It can be a combination of everything.

If another Civil War happens in America (yes, we're encroaching on one whether we like it or not), it is to repel the spread of communism, and I would rather fight on the side that wants to preserve the values and traditions America has stood for in the last 250 years. 

The time for heroic Catholicism is now. Catholics must rise and push against the “evil plague” of communism/socialism. We must take back education. We must take back our nation and claim it under God.

Let's fight to protect liberty and justice for the born and unborn Americans, now.
