Are we as Catholics asked to Fear God?

Exodus 4:10-12, Jesus instructed Moses to go to the Israelites to inform them about leaving Egypt. Moses told God, “They might not believe me, and I am not a good speaker.” The Lord replied to Moses, saying, “Who gives man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or dumb? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? It is I, the Lord. Now go! I will help you speak, and I will tell you what to say.”
However, there still exists another theory that while God does create individuals, disabilities and diseases can be traced back to the time of Adam and Eve and are therefore consequences of falling into sin through disobedience to God.
John:9:1-3, As they were walking along, Jesus saw a man who had been born blind. His disciples asked Him, “Teacher, whose sin caused him (the blind man) to be born blind? Was it his own, or his parents’ sin?”
Jesus answered, “His blindness has nothing to do with his sins or his parents’ sins. He is blind so that God’s power might be seen at work in him. As long as it is day, we must do the work of Him who sent me; night is coming when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light for the world.”
Biology’s and theology
Theological views on how God operates in the world do not exclude genetics; on the contrary, many theologians believe them to be complementary.
Natural Laws versus God’s Intervention: It is explained to us through science; however, our traits, intelligence, talents, and disabilities are derived from genetics and cellular biology, including environmental factors. Again, the theological contention is that God is the author of all natural and biological laws.
Equal Validation: Our Bible stresses how God endows all His people, regardless of talents, physical abilities, or intelligence, with equal value as image bearers.
The Many Voices Regarding Disabilities and Faith: Different perspectives emerge from the wider Christian community on why God allows disabilities and their purpose for suffering. Many of these views, however, most of us would find negative or disrespectful.
