O Mother Dear
I call upon Thee

In frustration I call upon Thy Holy Name.
Not because I want anything of this world.
I call upon Thee, O Holy One, for peace eternal.
Don’t look away from me, O Lord.
Bring peace to my heart.
Lest I wander away aimlessly without Thee.
I want Thee by my side; every day and every night.
So, I can honor Thee more, and more in torments and in prayer.
