Pope Approves Miracle of Apostle of Rosary
With 170 days until the 54th March for Life in Washington DC to take place, the annual gathering will once more have a new leader that will carry on the torch first carried by the late Nellie Gray.
Since 1973, the March for Life has been the largest grassroots gathering in the United States.
Jennie Bradley Lichter, who took over as President of the March for Life Foundation in February 2025, announced her resignation. Her last day was July 31st.
“Every single day in this role I have been mindful of the immense blessing of getting to work on behalf of the most precious mission, with a hard-working, faith-driven team around me, leading the world’s most iconic and impactful pro-life organization. “ Lichter stated in her press release.
What’s next? She will be a mom full time.
“Brian and I are raising two tweens and a rising kindergartner, and it has become very clear that my family needs more of my time and my active presence than I’m able to give while leading the March for Life. And so I must step away.” Lichter shared.
The board of the foundation released their statement thanking Lichter for her outstanding leadership.
We are so deeply grateful for Jennie Bradley Lichter’s tenure at the March for Life. Her role as a strategic advocate and trusted voice among elected officials, coalition partners, and faith leaders made her an invaluable choice to lead the March.” The release stated.
“Jennie was uniquely positioned to guide the organization through one of the movement’s most consequential seasons. Her ability to celebrate victories, acknowledge challenges, inspire confidence, and keep people focused on the road ahead helped fuel our cause’s continued momentum.” The release continues.
The search for the next president of the organization is underway. We hope and pray that a strong successor will carry on the legacy of Gray, Mancini, and now Lichter
