Jesus " is " God

     Only God could create the marvels and miracles that He showed, and continues to show us all throughout the mysteries of life. You do realize, that God is Jesus and Jesus is God. When we see Jesus, we see God. 

    Imagine seeing Him elevate to the sky with your own eyes and then to have the sky open and hear a voice say, " THIS is my beloved Son ". What more witness and proof that God is for real, do we need? Still, more proof is needed or expected for us stiff necked generations. I can only imagine the jaw-dropping moment, Peter, James and John, when they saw their Raboni rise from the ground in all splendor. Still, Peter denied Him and James and John ran when the soldiers arrived in the Garden of Gethsemane. It gives me great Hope to know such great Saints had moments like this. I pray for my soul to overcome defeat of my lukewarmness, and all my imperfections and rise above my sadness at, at times, my disbelief, to also realize and know, that God loves a repentant sinner. He loves His creation.

     The Transfiguration is one such event that is related this day in remembrance, as to God being Jesus and Jesus being God. God came down to this earth as man, so He could share His relationship with us. A relationship that could make us see and feel, He is like us in all ways but sin. He smiles. He weeps. He feels hurt and demands justice for wrongdoing. All in the form of being human, but ultimately as God. 

     Nothing will " ever " compare to the greatness of God. Nothing. 

     Praise you oh God from on high!. Keep us oh Jesus on the straight path that leads to You!. Come oh Holy Spirit!. Come.
