Course Correction

How often does a ship turn and veer

To avoid obstacles that are quite near

How often does we need to turn around

So our own ship doesn’t run aground

Do we trust in God to help with our much needed correction

Or do we sullenly sputter about in every direction

Yes that is one way to change one’s course

But without His Help you’ll just make it worse

Listen read and to God heed

For only He has all you need

A course correction is often badly needed

So let your rudder and sail be yielded

Amen
