A Time of Receiving Christ is now to Give back:

After 7 days in the hospital from an unexpected fall, the sense of what transpired while there has become an example of what we can accomplish with those who stood as givers themselves.  

The one attribute that stood out to me is the effort that each person, para-medics, nurses, and anyone who has a specific task at caring for those like me who are in need of help.  As I viewed each one seeing to their particular task the one common notation became a sense of complete adherence to duty out of love.  It did not take me long to reach each one with the words that should befall anyone who works in a vocation of concern for the people they are there for.  Those words are; “you do your ministry out of care for people and a love that goes deeper than just saying thank you.?  This action is more than a 9 to 5 job; it is a “divine grace” that puts you here.  

Perhaps spending 24 hours with the many care-givers that attend to those of us who cannot do the normal functions alone should open our eyes the the sacrifices these care-givers do for more than an 8 hour shift and out of compassion for sustaining a tranquil night of fear, loneliness, and a need for meds or whatever else may arise.

This period of time found both my wife and me ending up in two different hospitals for unlike problems.  But through Christ and the ministers of the Church we both  found solace and the knowledge of human care by the time we found each other in a time of blessed peace.
