The Galileo Effect - Part II

We discussed in Part I what is this - Galileo Effect: Which is when mainstream geophysicists, or any number of other sciences, religions, governements, or any institution holding power who then largely reject the application of alternative ideas by stating things like, “The earth is the center of the universe,” or “The inner core rotation does oscillate but is not a sign of catastrophic decoupling.” These denials of the preponderance of evidence are: The Galileo Effect. The Galileo effect is when a given mainstream science, governement, or religious institution flat-out rejects an alternative theory or calls an alternative theory pseudoscience in an effort to discredit alternatives in order to maintain control. The bigger question is not of those in power; it is of you and I. What are we doing to actively reject this matrix of control and broaden our frame of reference in the name of real Truth?

To be of some assistance we will look more closely at the actions of those who came after Akhenaten because they represent a primary instance of “The Galileo Effect.” I first identified this effect in the introduction to my first book; “The Sun, The Cycles, The Science & The Seers.”

Recall that the Galileo effect is when control is asserted or maintained by discrediting alternative points of view. The general idea of the Galileo effect was real, and still is today where many alternative points of view are labelled as pseudo-science or conspiracy theories and that is the same Galileo effect existing in our post religious modern world as that was used by the Catholic Church concerning Heliocentrism, and is alos what the Egyptian priestly class did to Akhenaten.

Back to the history lesson, there is a rich history of attempts to erase alternatives that do not fit the narrative in an attempt to maintain power and control. As promised at the end of part I; we will now dive head long into a very specific example of narrative control from history that had a profound impact on the ancient Egyptian society in antiquity. Let us go back all the way to Akhenaten (c. 1353–1336 BCE): A pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty who ruled roughly two hundred years after the Hyksos were driven out.

Pharaoh Akhenaten (ruled ca. 1353–1336 BCE): Akhenaten is known for initiating a radical religious revolution in ancient Egypt by replacing the traditional polytheistic pantheon with the exclusive worship of the Aten, the sun disk, which is often considered one of the earliest recorded forms of monotheism. This religious shift, known as Atenism or the Amarna Period, significantly changed Egyptian art, culture, and political structure, focusing on the Aten as the sole creator and life-sustaining deity. Originally named Amenhotep IV, the pharaoh changed his name in his fifth year of his reign to Akhenaten, meaning "effective for the Aten" or "serving the Aten," to demonstrate his commitment to this new deity.

The Aten as Sole God: Akhenaten elevated the Aten which was formerly an obscure aspect of the sun god Ra, to be the supreme and only god, actively dismantling the cults of other deities, particularly the influential state god Amun. Atenism did not allow statues of the deity, as it was considered idolatry. Instead, the Aten was represented as a sun disk with rays terminating in hands offering life to the royal family, who were the sole intermediaries between the god and the people. Akhenaten ordered the removal of names and images of other gods from temples and monuments throughout Egypt, sometimes carving out the plural word "gods". Akhenaten built a new, non-traditional capital city called Akhetaten or "The Horizon of Aten", known today as Amarna, dedicated entirely to this new faith.

Nature of Monotheism - Modern scholars debate the exact nature of Akhenaten's religion, with some describing it as monolatry or the worship of one god while not denying others rather than absolute monotheism, though it functionally behaved as monotheism, as the public was discouraged from honoring other gods. The theology emphasized that only Akhenaten and Nefertiti truly knew the Aten, making them the exclusive conduits for the divine power. Akhenaten considered himself as the divine intermediary where he positioned himself and his queen, Nefertiti, as the only direct link between the people and the Aten, effectively dismantling the power of the traditional priesthood. Following Akhenaten's death, the old gods were reinstated, the capital was abandoned, and his reforms were quickly overturned by his successor, Tutankhamun.

Historical Debate: While some 19th and 20th-century scholars viewed Akhenaten as a visionary and a pioneer of monotheism like Abrahamic traditions, others believe it was a political maneuver designed to consolidate power away from the established priesthood who later re-asserted control over Egypt by claiming that Akhenaten was a "Great Heretic." Akhenaten was seen as a heretic king, and later rulers tried to erase him from the list of pharaohs, considering him "the enemy." Akhenaten’s revolution was largely undone after his death. His successor, Tutankhamun, restored the old gods, and later pharaohs attempted to erase Akhenaten from history by destroying his monuments and omitting his name from royal lists.

It may be of greater respect to call this “The Akhenaten Effect” as they are all actions of those in power to assert or maintain control over the large portions of society. The matrix of control therefore has existed from time and memorial. It is up to you and me; dear reader, to not only understand this 3D, lower consciousness approach; it is also the very call for us to raise our own consciousness towards love, light, and unity in a greater relationship with The Creator of the universe that will destroy this control over us all. I ask this question because each one of us must accept our own individual choices toward degradation or ascension and when enough of us choose the path of ascension there will be massive changes on a global scale to benefit all life on earth. For those of a Christian persuasion this is not a tricky thing to grasp in that the way, the truth and the life is in Christ, and through Jesus to God the creator of the universe is this way of ascension.
