     I know this has happened to most of us. Where we pull out of the grocery store, trunk full of groceries, most, like in my case, our items that I really didn't need to buy, such as those Hostess CupCakes, for instance. Maybe you're sipping on a Scooter's iced coffee and the radio is tuned into some good music. Then it happens. You pull up to that red light and there is someone, looking quite weathered, holding a sign made out of a part of a cardboard box, with the words, "anything will help. God bless you". All of a sudden, that iced coffee doesn't taste so good. Your eyes travel to the rear seat, where you see the sacks of groceries. Your heart sinks clear down to the pedals on the floor and you must confront, face to face, with the person holding the sign. I realize it's impossible to help every person in need and that we must be careful because there are so many people that can con us. But is it really impossible? Sparing a few bucks in the name of Jesus Christ is possible. How about an item out of those piles of grocery sacks? That's not impossible. Stopping and taking the moment to relay a smile to someone who is in need, isn't impossible. Maybe that could be us someday. Or maybe a loved one who is struggling. I know there are cons out there in this world like I said, but my motto is, "anything done in the surrender to Jesus's Name, matters not in which the other person takes it". It's only in the matters in which it is given. These moments are our treasures. These things that God will look at, next to the side of all the bad things that we might have done in our past and still keep doing. We want the scales of Our lives to weigh more on the good that we have done rather than the bad. Remembering the words, given by our God ,whose own words Himself, say, " truly I tell you, whatever you did for the least of my brothers and sisters, you did it for me". A person shouldn't give if you count the cost. The intentions of Love is the only thing that matters. You walk away or drive away knowing you did it in The Name of Jesus Christ, and you let Him take care of the rest. Even if you have nothing material to give someone, you can give them your smile and tell them you will pray for them. Like I said. All things done with Love.
