Returning the gift to God

Life is a gift bestowed to each of us by God. He freely gives it. We do not even exist to ask, he simply gives. We start life being blessed to be here. When we die we are blessed as well because we have the chance to return the gift to God. The gift that we give to him is not the life that he made, but rather the life that he gave us and what we did with it. Our return gift is who we have become. As we go into the life the hope is that we lived a life full of light, so that God can be joyous upon our return.
