This moment in Time our souls are seeking the very Essence of Christ:

We are always living for the depth of grace that is not obscure or even hidden from our faith; it is in the absence of what we believe that has attacked the faith that God gives to all who seek it.  

Be attentive to the analogy of faith.  By “analogy of faith” we mean the coherence of the truths of faith among themselves and within the whole plan of Revelation.  This is the third criteria for interpreting Scripture in accordance with the Spirit who inspired it.  (CCC 111; 114).

What moves us to believe is not the fact that revealed truths appear as true and intelligible in the light of our natural reason: we believe “because of the authority of God himself who reveals them, who can neither deceive nor be deceived.”  So “that the submission of our faith might nevertheless be in accordance with reason, God willed that external proofs of his Revelation should be joined to the internal helps of the Holy Spirit.”   Thus the miracles of Christ and the saints, prophecies, the Church’s growth and holiness, and her fruitfulness and stability “are the most certain signs of divine Revelation, adapted to the intelligence of all;” they are “motives of credibility” which show that by the assent of faith is “by no means a blind impulse of the mind.”  (CCC 156).

We are in the modest of a crisis, as I wrote before, where the politics of our nation is on the verge of taking over the freedoms that God extended to us and the Church will have a serious challenge to convince its parishioners that God has not forgotten the promises he made to Old Testament prophets regarding the coming of an unconditional covenant made with Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, guaranteeing descendants like the stars of heaven,an everlasting possession of the land of Canaan, and a divine blessing through which all nations would be blessed.  (Gn 12: 7).

Just in case anyone might forget, the entire bible is all about Christ and it is through him that all of this upheaval of faith is only what Satan wishes to crowd our minds with disbelief.  Each of us must continue to hold tightly to that faith which is our pathway to grace and everlasting life.
