The Day is coming, says Zephaniah…

Another prophet that warns the Israelites regarding the worship of everything except God is at our doorsteps in 2026.  

I will completely sweep away all things from the face of the earth, says the Lord.  I will sweep away man and beast, I will sweep away the birds of the sky, and the fishes of the sea.  I will overthrow the wicked; I will destroy mankind from the face of the earth, says the Lord.  (Zep 1: 2 - 3)  Similar threats found in Noah and other prophecies.

Gather, gather yourselves together, O nation without shame!  Before you are driven away, like chaff that passes on; Before there comes upon you the blazing anger of the Lord; Before there comes upon you the day of the Lord’s anger.  Seek the Lord, all you humble of the earth, who have observed his law; Seek justice, seek humility; perhaps you may be sheltered on the day of the Lord’s anger.  (Zep 2: 1 - 3).

Woe to the city, rebellious and polluted, to the tyrannical city!  She hears no voice, accepts no correction; in the Lord she has not trusted, to her God she has not drawn near.  Her prophets are insolent, treacherous men: Her priests profane what is holy, and do violence to the law.  (These prophets are present today via self-promoted idealists that will bring down  the weakest among us who reject Christ).  Do these threats affect the modern characters that promise to destroy Christianity and remove God from the very world he created?  Absolutely and with the increase of Communism and Marxism entering our world the reality of its foothold is about to come alive in every Church and home where Christ is avoided.  (Zep 3: 1 - 2, 4).    

On that day You need not be ashamed of all your deeds, your rebellious actions against me; For then will I remove from your midst the proud braggarts, and you shall no longer exalt yourself on my holy mountain.  Shout for joy, O daughter Zion!  Sing joyfully, O Israel!  Be glad and exult with all your heart, O daughter Jerusalem!  The Lord has removed the judgment against you, he has turned away your enemies; the King of Israel is in your midst, you have no further misfortune to fear .  (Zep 3: 11, 14 - 15).  

O, if only this last paragraph would become our future; but alas, the Marxist regime may not allow Christians who are without Christ to hear the Word of God and our end will be worse than what it was before.

Throughout the Old Testament prophecies God’s people were warned of how he would destroy the people and everything on the earth for their continued blasphemies and ignoring the Lord by making false gods.  But then we find that through specific people like Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, then Moses and finally his Son Jesus Christ the world has been given chances after chances.  

If only this people; the twentieth and twenty-first centuries where our current history sits in the filth of ignominy waiting for grace that never will occur as long as a communistic society completely ignores God and welcomes an evil that lives without the love that God had in mind when he created the humanity of man.
