Forgiven Much - Loving Much

** A Past Meditation **
Written in the past and newly restored.
(With an image of the Last Vision of Fatima.)
My Lord and my God,
with all my love,
I give You thanks.
Above all,
I thank You for Your Presence within my heart.
You are my life,
my hope,
and my joy.
Your Presence gives life to my soul.
Thank You for Your endless mercy
and for the countless graces You pour upon me each day.
Apart from You,
I can do nothing.
Thank You for always calling me back
when I wander,
and for lifting me up
when my trust is weak
and my courage grows faint.
Thank You for leading me
to the living waters of Your grace
whenever my soul is weary and thirsty.
Thank You for the souls You place along my path—
those who encourage me,
challenge me,
and inspire me
to surrender myself more completely,
that Your life,
rather than my own,
may shine through me.
Thank You for kindling within my heart
a deeper love for You.
May my life become
a unique reflection
of the Gospel You desire to share with the world.
Heavenly Father,
thank You for making me Your beloved child.
Thank You for loving me
with the tenderness of a Father.
Thank You for allowing me
to follow Your Son
along the path of love,
self-giving,
and holiness.
Thank You for using
my joys,
my trials,
my crosses,
my sufferings,
and even my weaknesses
to draw me ever closer to Yourself.
Sanctify all that I do.
May everything in my life
bring You glory.
Thank You for inviting me
to share ever more deeply
in Your own divine life,
transforming me,
little by little,
into the saint You created me to become.
Life is Your precious gift.
Your Presence,
Your grace,
and Your mercy
are all I truly need.
I long for the day
when I shall behold You face to face.
Until then,
I will seek You
in the Holy Eucharist.
I will adore You
in the Blessed Sacrament.
I will listen for Your voice
in Sacred Scripture.
I will speak with You
in the quiet moments of each day.
I will seek You
in my crosses,
my joys,
my ordinary duties,
and in every grace You quietly place before me.
Through the wisdom of the saints,
through the sacrament of the present moment,
and through every circumstance You permit,
may I learn to recognize
Your loving hand.
May my heart
never grow weary
of praising,
adoring,
and loving You.
Keep me always close to You,
Lord.
May my cup overflow
with love for You.
Draw my heart
into ever deeper union with Yours,
even now,
as You prepare me
for the fullness of Heaven.
Do not let me settle
for loving You only halfway.
Inflame my heart
with a greater desire for holiness,
that I may seek You
with all my strength,
love You
with my whole heart,
and faithfully serve my neighbor
for Your glory.
May my life become
a light that leads others
to Your Heart.
Not my will,
but Yours be done.
Amen.
Totus Tuus.
A Moment for Reflection:
Where have I recognized God’s loving hand in my life today?
Can I thank Him not only for my joys, but also for the trials and weaknesses He is using to draw me closer?
Where might I still be loving God only halfway or resisting His will?
How is Jesus inviting me to seek Him more deeply—in the Eucharist, in Scripture, in prayer, and in the ordinary duties of this day?
Lord, receive my gratitude, my weakness, and my whole life. Draw me into deeper union with Your Heart, and let Your will be done in me. Amen.
