Are the gruesome murders by mothers a realism or absence of God?

One or more have said a voice told them to do this and they followed through.  Any one of us could say that some voice explicitly spoke to us and believe it is an angel or the Holy Spirit guiding us into a spiritual adherence for goodness.  When Joseph was going to dismiss Mary when she told him she was pregnant;  In a dream an angel told him; “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home.  For it is through the Holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her.  (Mt 1: 20).  Later, when they had departed from Bethlehem, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother and flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you.”  (Mt 2: 13).

Of course these two dreams were spoken to Joseph by God’s angel to protect his marriage and safety later regarding the Son of God, Jesus.  However it is not just here where we see that an angel or in many cases the Holy Spirit speaks to us in dreams or in fact a spiritual voice in many instances to guide us during periods of safety and issues that might be more than just a mental nudge.  Through any such occurrences they are for goodness and those who receive them are not psychologically affected in a negative manner.  

There is no doubt that demons do roam the world looking for weak souls that will do their bidding.  The fifth commandment is very straight-forward; “Human life is sacred because from the beginning it involves the creative action of God and it remains forever in a special relationship with the Creator, who is its sole end.  God alone is the Lord of life from its beginning until its end:  no one can under any circumstance claim for himself the right directly to destroy an innocent human being.”   (CCC 2258).  

A lack of understanding of who God is and a direct result of not finding faith by Christian adherence to what life is all about, the open entity of a human soul is subject to evil occurrences that certainly will corrupt the thought of how precious human life is.  This is why the loss of respect for human life is so rampant throughout the world and is no surprise when we view even mothers who have lost all sense of love for their own children have become confused with Sacramental understanding of human life.  Abortions are also number one by the loss of the unborn and now even as a baby is entering into life are murdered before their tiny bodies even take their first breath.

What is paramount to Church affiliation is the reality of such murderous actions are not just the absence of religious activities, it can occur even with people who attend church but their hearts are somewhere else. 

Scripture specifies the prohibition contained in the fifth commandment:  “Do not slay the innocent and the righteous.”  The deliberate murder of an innocent person is gravely contrary to the dignity of the human being, to the golden rule, and to the holiness of the Creator.  The law forbidding it is universally valid: it obliges each and everyone, always and everywhere.  (CCC 2261).

Were there demons with these mothers, and are there more with doctors who willingly use a scalpel or scissors to cut the brains of a new-born child?  God have mercy on these unwilling persons who have no concern for innocent babies or especially young children who only know how to bring smiles to our faces; Lives too precious to be taken as a sacrifice as in the victims to a god like Moloch in the Old Testament.  The era in history is different but treating our children has not changed.
