The truth never lies, and that's the truth

    The truth never lies. But those who lie, try to make you believe it's the truth. Hollywood, neighbors, Facebook, all  try to make you believe everything is just the way they present it. But often, the truth is revealed. Gossip usually tends to have the untruth within its nasty claws. One thing lying does, is it runs out of Truth. Out of time. The truth lives on forever. I guess people think the story will be more juicier or exciting if they add a little of their own imagination in relating something to someone that would otherwise seem boring. Scandal is popular. It was even in Jesus's days.  People just can't seem to handle the truth. Truth to them, is boring. Truth is telling. Truth can be mortifying. But it's the "truth" and eventually it gets exposed, just like it's counterpart, "lie". The Truth can present actual facts. Lying goes off what one could believe as to why something happened or expected out of someone or something they don't really know. One lie leads to another, until the story is believable. That's really the only hope of a lie. It better be convincing. Where, when telling the Truth, leads to reality and like our Lord says, "Freedom". It frees the conscience, the Soul, your Peace, to reside where mania in the situation laid. 

     A lie is like one of those snake firecrackers, that when lit, all it does is grow and curl around in blackness and smells bad. Where the truth is a sparkler, that when waved around emits sparks of colored bright lights and lets your eyes light up with joy as you make circles, twirling around in the dark. Both eventually go out. But all that's left of the snake is a black remnant of ashes. Whereas the sparkler has its embers remain glowing. 

     The world wants our ears to turn to the untrue. It's a tool of the evil one. I guess it thinks that life would be more exciting or comforting to know someone is doing a lot worse things than ourselves are doing. That "our" sins aren't so bad, because he or she had this happen or is living in a despicable way. 

     Tsk. Tsk. Poor humans who try to live in that kind of world. They only complicate life by not living in truth. In their world, life is based on judgment, not truth. That must be such a wearysome state to live in. There is no Peace. How can there be? They will have to remember what they say or the LIE will get caught. Caught by the TRUTH. A cat and mouse game. Running and chasing. How tiresome! Poor Jesus had those elders always chasing Him with their untruths, but as we all know, they left embarrassed and chided by the truth that was shown in Jesus's words and by His Holy examples. If one starts out with the Truth, one can feel eased by the Truth. Lying from the get-go only leads to unrest in the Soul. 

   Tell the Truth always. No matter how much it might hurt. It truly does set you free. God is the Truth. The devil spews lies. No lie lays within any part of our God. Only evil presents itself as a lie and that doesn't get one to Heaven. And that is the Truth.
