Thank You letter
As the tree when it sleeps in winter
I want to sleep
As the tree when it wakes in the spring
I want to wake
Close my petals at the night
Like a flower
Open my blossoms at the first rays
Like a rose
Let me rest Lord
Don’t chastise
Relent
The rest I need
To be reborn
Is necessary
Otherwise my life
I will loose
Otherwise my faith
Will wither
Flowers are born morning
And at sunset they die
People are born from water
And if not watered
They die of thirst
They thirst after You
Their sap of life
With which You fill chalices
On your table
Blood thirsty are our souls
Every day
Hungry are our bodies
For the bread of Your’s
Sprinkle our porous lips
From your throne
Let us sup on the sweetness
Of Your Heart daily
If we knew Who is waiting for us
In the temples we build with our hands
And are empty now
The lines would be never ending
By their doors
Everyone would stand
And beg…
And receive
