Mercy starts by noticing

Mercy is an important part of our faith. We are called to give mercy to all, even our enemies. Mercy, can however, start off rather simply. Mercy starts by noticing. When we see those around us who need help we can next take acts to help them. We can not help those that we do not see and yet the world is full of opportunities to do good each day. All we must do is take the time to notice.
