My angel tried to lead the way; but caught me in some things today.

Act of Contrition
O my God, with grieving heart, I repent and turn apart--
from all sins that I have done, offending You, the Holy One.
More than fear of loss or pain, I regret each dark and sinful stain.
For my sins have wounded Thee, O Source of love and charity.
With Your grace I now intend, that my sinful ways shall stop, quit, end.
With grace, I will sin no more and flee every path to iniquity.
Lord, have mercy, hear my plea; through Christ’s Passion, set me free.
Goodnight Sweet Savior
For my every fault that dims Your light, I trust Your mercy, more tonight.
Show me how to seek Your face. Restore my soul with healing grace.
Into Your hands, my rest I give; for You are why I love and live.
Please hold me through the coming night, and let me wake to Truth and Light.
O Father, Son and Spirit above; blanket me with eternal love. Amen.
